	Regular At Home Dental Practices 3 Steps to Preventative Care Like humans, pets require regular dental care too. The American Veterinary Dental Society recommends the following three basic steps to better oral hygiene and health:

Include plague fighting foods - The Seal of Acceptance from the Veterinary Oral Health Council, an organization initiated by the American Veterinary Dental Society to guide consumers, appears on products that meet defined standards for plaque and tartar control in dogs and cats.
