Regular At Home Dental Practices
3 Steps to Preventative Care

Like humans, pets require regular dental care too.   The American Veterinary Dental Society recommends the following three basic steps to better oral hygiene and health:

1.  Brushing your pets teeth

2.  Include plague fighting foods - The Seal of Acceptance from the Veterinary Oral Health Council, an organization initiated by the American Veterinary Dental Society to guide consumers, appears on products that meet defined standards for plaque and tartar control in dogs and cats. For further information on the VOHC or their product standards, visit www.vohc.org.

3.  If you suspect any problems, take your pet to your veterinarian immediately!  And be sure your veterinarian does regular annual tooth examinations.
